Section tests
Almost all sections include a section test which covers the work in the section. They include a variety of types of question, including short answer, multiple choice and matching questions. For each question, students can check their answer immediately after entering it, and if it is wrong they will be given another attempt for fewer marks.
Students are allowed two attempts. The solutions will become available for scores of 76% or more.

Topic assessments
For most topics, there is a Topic Assessment which tests knowledge of the content of the whole topic (usually consisting of 2-4 sections).Topic assessment questions are provided in a PDF file. These can be found in the final section of each topic.
Topic assessments often include exam-style questions.
You may wish to ask students to hand in their solutions so that you can mark them. Solutions (only visible to tutors) can be found beneath the topic assessment.
You can enter marks for the topic assessment so that they appear in the student gradebook. You do this using the assignment activity just under the topic assessment.

Summary sheets
You will also find in the modules, in addition to the different topics, a Revision section. Summary sheets, which provide key information for students are located within the AS and A Level sections, in the Pure, Mechanics and Statistics modules. These are a great resource for students to use during busy revision periods and allows them to manage their own revision.
Student plus accounts - Allowing access to hidden resources
The Student Plus role allows students to see all hidden resources within a course, such as solutions to tests. Teachers may allocate this role to any or all of the students in their group. Some teachers choose to allocate this role to all students during revision time.

Interactive books
Some sections may have an interactive book which include quizzes that allow students to test themselves (answers are available as they work through the book). The book must be completed in one sitting, as work isn’t automatically saved.
If available for a section, the interactive books will be located in the Learn section.
The participation report will show if the student has accessed the interactive book.
