How do I delete an account for a student or teacher?

This article explains how to delete an account for a student or teacher and how to navigate this within the User Management area.


For subscription accounts, subscription contacts can delete student accounts following the instructions below:

  • Click on the menu heading Useful links
  • Select the link to the User Management
  • Click on Manage student accounts for the relevant course.
  • You then will see a table of Existing students 
  • Click the checkbox of the account you want to delete. Scroll down and click the delete button.
  • You will be prompted to confirm you would like to delete the user. Click OK to confirm this.


To delete teacher/tutor accounts 

  • Click the Manage tutors heading
  • Scroll down until you see the table containing tutor information.
  • Click the checkbox of the account you want to delete. Scroll down and click the delete tutors button.
  • You will be prompted to confirm you would like to delete the user. Click OK to confirm this.
  • If there isn't a box in the Delete column alongside the teacher account you wish to delete this account will need their user management access removed.
