How to create student accounts in bulk:

Please enter the User Management area and click on your chosen subscription. This will give you the option to start setting up new accounts and then to continue to set up student accounts. You are then able to create students accounts in a new teaching group.

You are then able to create student accounts within a new teaching group. You will need to name your teaching group and then choose the course you require, and add this to the teaching group. You can then go through and add the tutors you require. You can then click on Start creating student accounts for this teaching group.

It is important that you have your students details saved within a spreadsheet so you can copy over the information quickly and concisely.

The textbox states which columns you need to populate to ensure you create the student accounts correctly. We recommend including the students first and last names, along with their email addresses (this will make it easier for them when it comes to resetting their passwords). Click Create accounts and then once all of the accounts have been created, please press Finish creating accounts.

You can now copy and paste the information into a spreadsheet to then send out to your students.

Please note: If you have students who share the same surname and the same first initial you will manually need to create their accounts as there is not the option for duplicate usernames. This is so they have their own, individual account.

In order to give students access to the resources their accounts will need to be assigned to Teaching groups. For more information please click here.
