What information is available about my students' progress?

There are a few ways to track the progress of your students. Once you are in a course you will be able to view:

1) The Grader report

You can see the grades for your group in the course you are viewing within the Integral Mathematics resources site. From the top menu, choose This course and then under Reports select Grades.

This brings up your class and shows their grades achieved on the online tests and topics assessments (if added). From here you can:

  • Change classes using the drop down menu next to 'Separate groups'
  • Click into each test to see a breakdown of how the questions were answered.
  • Click the magnifying glass to see that specific question for that specific student
  • Add scores for Topic Assessments and they will appear in this report.

To download this report, click into the dropdown box 'Grader report' and choose your export method e.g. Excel spreadsheet. Choose what to be included and click Download.

2) The participation report

The Participation report allows you to see which of your students have accessed a particular activity or resource within a course. You can find this report within the Integral Mathematics resources site. From the top menu, choose This course and then under Reports select Participation report. Choose the activity or resource from the dropdown menu, which is arranged by type of resource. Resources of a particular type are arranged in the order that they appear in the course.

3) Activity completion report

If you ask your students to tick off activities once completed, this report will give you an overview of those completions.

You can also find this report within the Integral Mathematics resources site. From the top menu, choose This course and then under Reports select Activity completion report.

Please note that only the online tests will automatically be ticked off here.

This can be downloaded by clicking the buttons below.
