How do I reset my password?

The default password for users is based on their username. When any user logs in for the first time they are required to change their password to something more memorable.
There are several ways to re-set passwords if teachers and students forget theirs:
- If the user has a valid email address enabled in their profile, they can use the Forgot password link on the login page. They will then be sent a new temporary password via email. If the email does not appear in their inbox, they may need to check their spam folder.
- Any tutor who shares a group with the user can login to Integral, go to the Reset passwords page under Quick links in the This course menu on their dashboard when in the required course and click the Reset Password link. The tutor will then need to email the user their password which the user will be prompted to update.
- Any manager with access to the User Management area can login to Integral, click on the menu heading Useful links within their dashboard and select the link to User Management area. Passwords can reset passwords here using the buttons on the View Users page. The manager will then need to email the user their password which the user will be prompted to update.
