Email Notifications

Integral can send notifications of new forum posts, and other notifications. You can control which notifications are sent, and whether they are sent via the Integral site, or via email. You can adjust your notification settings by going to the Preferences page in the user menu (the drop-down menu by your name in the top right of Integral) and choosing Notification preferences.

Notifications can only be sent by email if you have a valid email address set in your profile. Even if you don't want notifications sent by email, it's useful to have an email address in your profile, so that you can reset your password if you forget it.

Notifications about forum posts are sent if you are subscribed to a forum. By default, you are subscribed to all forums that you have access to on Integral.

If you find you are getting a lot of emails from Integral that are not of interest to you, you may wish to unsubscribe from some or all forums. However, this may mean that you miss out on useful information or discussions, so you may wish to consider other options;

• You can unsubscribe from specific discussions within a forum, that aren't of interest to you;
• You can set your Forum preferences (available on the Preferences page in the user menu) so that you receive a daily digest
  rather than individual forum posts;
• You can set your forum notifications to arrive only via Integral
  notifications, rather than by email (however, if you don't often log
  into Integral, you may miss information).
